Qualification - BSc/ Diploma Engineering/ Degree Engineer
Experience 07- 10 years
The Junior Expeditor is responsible for keeping the material reporting systems (Smartplant Materials) up to date and follow-up on delivery dates and outstanding supplier documentation together with the engineer. Accountability and taking ownership of day to day expediting activities is key.
He/she needs to be results orientated, high energy and hands on Junior Expeditor with an eye for detail and an emphasis on quality. A trouble-shooter and problem solver.
The successful candidate will possess some experience in the industrial gases or oil and gas industry. The candidate must have ability to communicate successfully at all levels and have good IT skills, preferably SAP, OpenText and Smartplant Materials.
The successful candidate will be expected to continuously maintain the material control system (Smartplant Materials), document statuses and electronic filing systems for the assigned workload.
Key responsibilities:
• To interface with the Project Team for material and document statuses.
• Review PO’s on requirements for documentation and delivery dates.
• Monitor timely shipping of materials, shipping documents and critical documentation to the Engineering Data team. Follow-up on document statuses with suppliers and engineers.
• Escalate in an adequate way to the PPM and Project Team when suppliers fail to meet contractual requirements.
• Maintain detailed status and “record of events” in Smartplant Materials system.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with internal and external customers
• Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic.
Qualifications:
• Preferably 1-3 year experience in the industrial gases or oil and gas industry
• Experience with administration tasks within supply chain processes, preferably document and material Expediting
• Understanding and knowledge of MS office applications, if possible Smart Plant Materials experience and good IT skills.
