Job description
IMPACT OF THE POSITION:
The role will be responsible to lead and oversee the complete operations of the store and deliver a
world-class customer experience in stores, and drive same-store-growth
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
− Ensure adherence to detailed SOP; be accountable for inventory in stores –
optimal housekeeping, quality control, governance etc.
− With support from VM specialists, ensure that stores represent Nicobar proposition
and offer a compelling, differentiated experience
− Work with L&D to ensure that the right training is imparted, and that team
performance is high on training-related quizzes or other assessments
− Leverage relationships with landlords, staff at stores in the neighbourhood, to
surface ideas that drive revenues and/or brand
− Work with planners, warehouse team, care to manage stock replenishments or
customer complaints
− Provide consumer-led insights to merchandising, marketing and design teams
− Demonstrate a passion for the brand, and be an effective ambassador for it with
customers, partners, colleagues and other stakeholders
Work closely with head of retail and marketing to develop localized marketing
initiatives that would drive footfalls to the store
Customer experience:
− Be 'trusted advisor' to Nicobar customers, building strong, lasting connects,
leveraging a stellar understanding of our brand and our products, and maintaining
an authentic, non-pushy, personal style.
Leadership:
Identify, attract, inspire brand ambassadors; build a team with a balanced mix of
gender, age, and competency spikes

● 5-10 years of professional experience
● Managed stores, ideally mix of high street and malls.
● Store management roles at comparable brands
● Ability to understand and represent our brand
