Job Description



• Develop strong working relationships with partners to support; endorse and deliver sub category plans aligned to category procurement strategies to realize business savings and support innovation
• Drive supplier consolidation in the assigned sub-categories
• Assist in the development of the functional operating model for specific sub-categories
• Control of business spend and actively minimize revenue costs through improved use of tools; processes and application of standard methodology; Track and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories
• Support the business to achieving compliance with legal and ethical procurement policies
• Develop and lead a hard-working team enabling them to reach their potential to deliver a world class procurement function
• Initiates and designs continuous improvements initiatives to drive performance within their teams
• Accountable for achieving teams' objectives; stakeholder management and critical issue management
• Making decisions within policy and procedure framework to deliver business plans.
• Developing and leading a high performing team; creating an environment for success by setting direction and coaching them to succeed through inspiring conversations every day.

Manage a Spend GBP50-75 million
Develop and deliver category strategy.
Skills:
- Should possess the ability to manage budgets
- Preferred S2C Domain Knowledge
- Prior buying experience
- Negotiating contracts with third parties
-Developing category strategies
Stakeholder Management;
Developing procurement strategies
Operations Delivery;
People Policies and Processes; KPIs and SLAs
Data Analytics; Analysis and Judgement
Commercial negotiation skills
Procurement process (S2C/P2P) & Tools (Oracle/gep)

Qualifications



This role manages the strategic development; planning and sourcing for assigned categories and sub-categories in Markets for Distribution and Fulfill categories; that achieve the agreed savings and objectives. Partnering with suppliers and stakeholders to support the business' objectives.
