Job description
As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading all testing activities for our projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in diverse testing methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in automation testing, performance testing, penetration testing, and database management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively coordinating and guiding the testing team.

LOCATION: Trivandrum, Kerala
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and mentor our existing team of skilled testing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to empower their growth and optimize overall team performance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the testing lifecycle.
· Review and analyze reports generated by test engineers, identifying areas for improvement and delivering constructive feedback.
· Take ownership of the end-to-end testing process, from test planning and design to execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Escalate testing-related issues to senior management promptly, providing accurate and comprehensive information.
· Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and frameworks to incorporate industry-leading practices and ensure continuous improvement in testing processes.
· Document and implement testing processes and standards prescribed by the organization
· Ensure the timely completion and delivery of different testing milestones within assigned projects.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling confident and professional interactions with clients, and project team members.
· Proficiency in software Testing and tools to facilitate to identify root causes and recommend appropriate solutions.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve testing objectives.
· Excellent understanding of various types of testing, such as functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and security testing.
