As a Resident Medical Officer (RMO), your role is to provide medical care to patients in a hospital or clinical setting

Patient Care: Assess and examine patients, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations

Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition
Ward Rounds: Participate in ward rounds with senior doctors and medical teams
Present patients' cases, discuss treatment plans, and receive guidance and feedback from senior colleagues
Emergency Care: Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrests, trauma cases, and other urgent situations
Initiate resuscitation efforts, stabilize patients, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide immediate care
Surgical Assistance: Assist in surgical procedures, both in the operating theater and in outpatient settings
Prepare patients for surgery, scrub in, assist the surgical team, and provide post-operative care
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes
Ensure documentation complies with legal and ethical requirements
Medication Management: Prescribe medications, monitor their efficacy and potential side effects, and adjust dosages as necessary
