Job description

We are looking for one team head with in-house testing / dynamometer validation & friction development Background- preferably from Auto industry with hands on experience in dynamometer.

Qualification: ME/ MTech, BE/B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile Engineering) with 6 12 Years of Experience.

Skills: Dynamometer operational knowledge, Friction knowledge, Dynamometer validation & friction development

Job description

• Ensure the dynamometer / fatigue DVP plan to meet customer requirements
• Ensure validation as per the agreed customer DVP
• Analysis the failure & ensure for resolution with support from CFT (ER&D core & QA/unit)
• Friction development for given customer application (Caliper & drum brake) and respective technical discussions (SOR, DVP, Failure analysis) with friction supplier
• Provide the SOR / RFQ feedback related to dynamometer, fatigue & friction
• To maintain project files and related QS documents to meet the audit requirements
• To check and release the product development report for respective applications as per the agreed DVP with customer · To ensure test sample identification & traceability
• Check and ensure that instruments & Gauges used for testing are calibrated
• Plan for the test fixtures and ensure to complete the tests in Fatigue & Dyno rigs to meet the project timelines.
• Provide input and feedback to subordinates to help in their professional development
• Provide inputs to group head about the training needs of the subordinates and nominates them for same.
