The Role:
In this role you will be part of the Logitech Hardware Audio DSP and ML team developing and implementing real-time audio processing solutions to deliver innovative audio experiences to the customer. In this role you will:
Responsible for development, and implementation of efficient real-time audio algorithms on resource constrained DSPs/MCUs.
Responsible for optimizing and improving algorithm performance in real-world conditions - demonstrating innovative solutions to tough challenges.
Work with cross-functional product team to deliver seamless customer audio experience.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Minimum BS degree in EE, CS or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience working in audio signal processing product teams.
Strong fundamentals in digital audio signal processing.
Algorithm development - Research and develop voice pickup and audio path DSP algorithms from ground-up. [e.g. near-field beamforming, noise suppression, wind noise suppression, echo cancellation, automatic gain control, dynamic range compression]
Experience prototyping and characterizing real-time audio processing algorithms for transmit and receive processing
Experience implementing and optimizing real-time audio algorithms on fixed and floating point DSP Cores from the Tensilica HiFi family to MCU cores like ARM, RISC V
Strong background in applied digital audio signal processing and knowledge of ML speech processing.
Strong in C/C++. Matlab, Python is a plus.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with audio measurements and standard subjective/objective audio evaluation metrics.
Experience working in hardware product teams from product concept to mass production
Good Audio listening skills and experience detecting audio artifacts.
Experience communicating effectively in a cross functional environment.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking skills
Familiarity with code version control practices
