Job description

We are hiring AGM - Finance for an Export Oriented Manufacturing Unit (MNC).

Job Location - Vellore, Tamilnadu

Responsibilities:-

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Formulate annual budgets for Sales, Expenses, Capex, and Working Capital, preparing Budgeted P&L.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Coordinate timely and accurate preparation of Monthly Management reports for various financial aspects.
  • Monitor banking relationships and ensure efficient fund utilization.

Cost Management:

  • Formulate Standard Cost for all components and Spare parts at the beginning of the year.
  • Drive cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses for identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Legal Taxation and Compliance:

  • Oversee all legal compliance and taxation matters, including Indirect Taxes, Direct taxes, FEMA, and FTP.
  • Handle independent assessments of Direct and Indirect Taxes, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Prepare reports to ensure adherence to Transfer Pricing regulations and coordinate with consultants for statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal firms for effective handling of cases and review of contracts.

Internal Controls and IFC Audit:

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls for safeguarding company assets.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of IFC Audit.

Audit of Financial Statements:

  • Prepare Financial Statements for Statutory, Group & Mid-period audits.
  • Act as an Audit Coordinator, ensuring smooth completion of audits within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and IND AS.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements- Qualified CA / ICWA - post qualification experience of 10 years is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU).
  • Thorough understanding of international finance, taxation and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in Indirect Taxes, Direct Taxes, FEMA, FTP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
