Job Title: Planning Engineer
Experience: 1 – 4 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Planning Engineer
with a background in Mechanical Engineering and at least one year of relevant
experience to join our team. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a critical role in
the planning and execution of engineering projects. You will be responsible for
creating project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are
completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and create a clear project scope.
  • Create and maintain project schedules using project management software. Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or roadblocks. Implement effective project management strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with various teams to allocate resources effectively. Ensure that resources are available and allocated appropriately to meet project objectives.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans. Monitor and address any issues that may impact project timelines and quality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Prepare regular status reports for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management. Provide regular updates on project progress and potential issues.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in planning engineering or a related field, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools). Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Meticulous and thorough in project planning and documentation.
