Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Collection and Retention Strategy Manager. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the operational execution of our Collection & Retention strategy, with the ultimate goal of reducing churn and minimizing bad debt. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies to enhance customer retention, minimize delinquencies, and improve overall collections efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop comprehensive Collection & Retention strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer segmentation.
- Implement and manage the execution of these strategies to ensure a proactive and effective approach to minimize churn and bad debt.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, customer behavior, and potential risks related to churn and bad debt.
- Generate regular reports and insights to track key performance indicators, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer service, finance, and marketing, to integrate collection and retention initiatives into overall business operations.
- Implement efficient operational processes to streamline collections, reduce outstanding debts, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted customer engagement campaigns that support retention efforts.
- Identify opportunities for proactive communication with customers to address concerns, offer solutions, and reinforce the value of our products/services.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to collections.
- Mitigate risks associated with bad debt through proactive risk management practices and compliance adherence.
Salary: 6LPA Max (Females Preferred)
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Collections Manager or similar role
- Strong proficiency in collections activities and related software
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounts receivable collections and procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Additional certification, such as Certified Credit and Collections Professional (CCCP) or Certified Debt Collection Professional (CDCP) is a plus
