Job description

Seeking a seasoned UX/UI Designer with specialized expertise in mobile and desktop Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) reporting to join our team. This role demands a deep understanding of the unique design requirements for BI applications, with a focus on creating intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences for both mobile and desktop platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing BI tools that facilitate easy access to complex data, allowing users to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop UX/UI solutions for MS Power BI reporting tools on both mobile and desktop platforms, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and BI analysts to understand user needs, business objectives, and data complexities to inform design decisions. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to propose and iterate on design solutions that meet user needs and align with technical constraints. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and continuously improve the user experience. Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across all BI reporting interfaces. Stay abreast of UX/UI trends, best practices, and technologies, especially those relevant to BI reporting and analytics platforms. Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs and to adjust designs as necessary based on technical feedback.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with specific expertise in designing for BI reporting for both mobile and desktop platforms. Strong understanding of BI concepts, data visualization best practices, and the ability to translate complex data into user-friendly designs. Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, with a strong user-centered design focus. Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, typography, and color theory. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicate design rationale, and negotiate solutions with stakeholders. Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in BI reporting UX/UI design, with examples of mobile and desktop applications.
