Roles And Responsibilities :

Brand License Business Head

• FMCG

• Fashion & Lifestyle

• Consumer Appliances & Electronics

Business strategy

• Develop the business to scale any of Vertical independently : Go deep, understand where Brand licensing opportunities are and create a viable outreach to service the opportunities

• Know the Segment: Subject Matter Expert who is well versed across multiple categories and fully conversant with trends in an ever-changing landscape for your vertical, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities etc

• Know the Industry : Detailed understanding of how consumers buy products and ability to use that to create strong new licensing opportunities to drive business growth

• Know the Channel : A 360 view of the entire landscape across Brands, Vendors, Manufacturing Companies, Organized Retailers at both Global and National level, and Understanding of on-line and off-line players.

• Think Vision - unlock value for Brands, Licensee and vendor partners

Merchandising and Sales Strategy

• Thorough understanding of Brands Mix and how to break them down into 4P/6Ps to help take impactful decisions on merchandising

• Identify the growth areas and new business scope within the existing category

• Ability to identify & create strategic selection roadmaps keeping the consumer at the heart of things -Expand selection, enable its discovery and ensure conversion

• Appreciation of product/tech globally wrt your experience in specific vertical.

• Reach out potential vendor companies, retailers, online platforms to seize any new product, brand introduction opportunity and capability to convert the funnel

Relationship Management

• Forge deep strategic relationships with Leadership levels across brands & vendor communities

Build, retain and learn from a strong team to deliver across functions

• Set goals, define KPIs and ensure to drive effectively towards goals

• Identify strategic partners and negotiate better terms of business

Qualifications & Experience

• Subject Matter Expert on multiple key categories of Segment

• Worked across roles such as Brand & Category Management roles in any vertical of FMCG, Fashion & Lifestyle, Consumer Appliances , Products & Electronics

• Extremely entrepreneurial in his/her approach in trying to scale small categories/opportunities

• Self-directed focus and ability to prioritize within an ambiguous environment

• Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight

• Strong Story-telling abilities that can help pitch and align Leadership & cross functional teams across Brand and Licensing opportunities

• Strong verbal & written communication skills

• Passionate and Out of box thinking approach.
