Overview
Bachelor's degree 2-3 years of experience in a proposal specialist or similar role, preferably in software sales. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Loopio, SmartSheet, Gong, and Salesforce CPQ is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. Responsibilities Proposal Creation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and transform complex deal order forms into professional and branded proposals. Utilize market data, ROI analysis, and risk mitigation strategies to illustrate the value of our solutions in proposals. Quality Assurance Ensure the accuracy and consistency of proposals by meticulously reviewing content, formatting, and adherence to branding guidelines. Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies in proposals before final submission. Process Adherence Follow established proposal processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency in proposal creation and delivery. Work closely with Proposal Desk leadership to identify areas for process improvement and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. Collaboration Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, product marketing, and revenue operations teams, to gather necessary information and align on proposal requirements. Collaborate with team members to share best practices, brainstorm ideas, and troubleshoot challenges encountered during proposal creation. Documentation Management Maintain organized documentation of proposal templates, content libraries, and other resources to streamline the proposal creation process. Continuously update and improve proposal templates and content based on feedback and evolving business needs.
