Job description
Job Description & Responsibilities: Provide leadership, vision, and architectural/design direction for the team. Direct the team in troubleshooting and problem resolution. Ensure engineering solutions align with the Technology strategy and that they support the application’s requirements. Plan and implement procedures that will maximize engineering and operating efficiency for application integration technologies. Identify and drive process improvement opportunities. Participate in Architectural meetings and work with Application Architects and System Architects Participate in compliance calls with Security team and DevSecOPs team. Provide technical expertise in design strategies, methodologies, techniques and tools to ensure development of IT components which meet the needs of the stakeholders. Collaborate with Scrum Master and RTE for story grooming and refinement. Provide pattern identifications and the development of detailed design documents through consultation with key business subject matter experts and team members. Complete accountability for the technology assets owned by the team. Provide leadership to the team ensuring the team is meeting the following objectives: Design, configuration, implementation of features and application design/development within the supported technologies and products. Proactive monitoring and management design of supported assets assuring performance, availability, security, and capacity. Maximize the efficiency (operational, performance, and cost) of the application assets.
Experience Desired: Proven experience leading/managing technical teams with a passion for the developing the talent within the team. Experience with vendor management in an onshore/offshore model. Proven experience with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership. Proven experience with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example. Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions. Education and Training Required: College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience. Exposure to AWS Agile Programming Cloud Practitioner Primary Skills: Expertise in Design Patterns and strategies. Expertise in REST web services, SOAP web services Experience in Angular, NODEJS, JavaScript development. Expertise in Java, Spring, ORM. Knowledge of Kafka and NoSQL database Strong Database skills with SQL (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata. Expertise with Object Oriented Design and Development.Job tags
