Job description
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan for RE development based on their calculations and any research conducted. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.
Responsibilities Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications Execute project based on outlined criteria Assist with Drawings and design of engineering tasks Perform drafting and designing using AutoCAD and Staad pro Understand and apply industry standards, codes, and procedures Preparation of BOQs Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to relay project information effectively Make factory visits to check specifications of material and structures Make site visits to observe construction procedures Participate in on-the-job training programs Perform other assignments as required Professional in AutoCAD and Staad pro software Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and Designs Knowledge of RCC and Steel code requirements Develop cost-effective design layouts based on construction specifications and requirements. Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures. Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions. Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements. Determine construction cost and material estimates based on civil designs. Perform field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawings. Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints. Use latest software and technologies to develop effective designs. Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes. Consider health, safety and environmental requirements when developing civil designs. Manage design projects within allotted timelines and budgets. Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands. Stay abreast with latest developments with civil design fields. Ensure compliance with ISO quality requirements. Provide assistance to design and construction teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting Experience with AutoCAD Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skillsJob tags
