Job description
Server resource will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Server hardware & software
Will be tasked with developing new ways to improve server performances and efficiencies
Should have experience in managing servers & possess advance troubleshooting skills
Responsible for IT infrastructure & services of unit.
Comprehensive maintenance of Server and uptime is maintained as per SLA Matrix.
Checkup the health of Server through verifying the log files.
Configuration of Registry, System State and RAID.
Planning and configuration of Backup devices.
Take precautionary actions to maintain 100% uptime. Monitoring the load, printer, and resource on frequent intervals for the better performance of the Server.
Daily reporting on Server health and monthly reporting on uptime.
Monitoring logs of critical services and alerts as defined in IM Policy
To avoid vulnerability due to virus attacks and keep Servers up and running, OS service packs to be updated as and when suggested.
Monitoring the Server logs and rectifying the issues related to Servers.
Servers must be applied with latest patches and Service Packs. Servers need to be hardened as per the checklist.
Hardening to be performed as & when new Server is added or OS reinstallation in Data Center. Report back artifact of implementation.
