Job description

As a Sales Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver effective training programs that equip our sales professionals with the knowledge, tools, and techniques needed to excel in their roles. You will work closely with sales leadership to identify training needs, design curriculum, and implement training initiatives to drive sales effectiveness and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Collaborate with sales leadership to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with sales goals and objectives. Design curriculum, training materials, and resources tailored to different sales roles, levels of experience, and learning styles. Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate sales team members on sales methodologies, product knowledge, and best practices. Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques, including role-playing, simulations, case studies, and e-learning modules, to enhance learning outcomes. Sales Skills Development: Focus on developing key sales competencies such as prospecting, objection handling, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques. Provide personalized coaching and feedback to sales representatives to help them improve their performance and achieve sales targets. Product and Market Knowledge: Ensure that sales professionals have a deep understanding of our products, services, target market, and competitive landscape. Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and customer insights to continuously update and enhance training content. Performance Evaluation and Feedback: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, sales KPIs, and feedback from participants and sales managers. Analyze training outcomes and identify areas for improvement, refinement, or additional training interventions.

Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Proven experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced sales environment. Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners to maximize their potential. Proficiency in training evaluation methods and tools. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus. Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is desirable but not required.
