Job description

Role: Electrical Designer

Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:

Create electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using E3D and SP3D software.
Develop detailed engineering drawings for electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Project Coordination:

Collaborate with other disciplines such as civil, structural, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project designs.
Work closely with project managers to meet project timelines and milestones.
Compliance and Standards:

Ensure that electrical designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Stay updated on relevant electrical codes and regulations applicable to the oil and gas industry.
Technical Documentation:

Prepare technical documentation, including equipment specifications, datasheets, and reports.
Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
Review and Quality Assurance:

Conduct reviews of electrical designs to identify potential issues and optimize for efficiency.
Participate in quality assurance and control processes to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to address technical queries and provide support during the construction and commissioning phases.
Troubleshooting:

Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues during construction and operation phases.
Continual Learning:

Stay abreast of advancements in electrical design technology and methodologies.
Attend relevant training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills:

E3D and SP3D Proficiency:

Demonstrated expertise in using E3D and SP3D for electrical design in the oil and gas industry.
