Hybrid Working

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. Introduction:
This role spans across working on multiple projects or modules and coordinating with teams to understand requirements, test planning, test execution, functional/automation testing across different phub feature teams
What will you be doing
Test Planning & Execution
. Delivery of test plan, test scenarios & test closure as per provided requirements & timelines.
. Able to work on one or multiple projects of varying complexity, undertaking the following activities, maintaining overall accountability for the work of the team in terms of quality and timeliness of delivery:
o Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, system testing & integration testing.
o Strong understanding of test life cycle
o Strong analytical skills
o Supporting and coaching
o Issue escalation
o Validation of plans and progress management
o Hands-on experience of test cases/scenarios writing & test execution
What we're looking for:
o Relevant experience in API automation testing using Python/Java -Selenium based or any other API centric gherkins(BDD) based framework
o Extensive experience into E2E test management activities right from project test initiation to closedown phase.
o Should be well versed with methodologies such as Agile/Kanban/Hybrid.
o Should be well versed with implementation and designing of the TDD & BDD using Cucumber & Selenium framework for moving towards CI /CD.
o Should have involvement in test automation projects right from the framework design, framework amendments to execution.
o Should have experience in story point estimation technique or business case estimation.
o Well versed with setting-up Test Environment with required test data & appropriate level of access
o Strong in SQL/PL-SQL & Unix
o Hands on experience in automation & scripting
o Experience of converting BA stories into test scenarios/cases.
o Well versed with test management tool i.e. Quality Center/JIRA
o Well versed with defect lifecycle
o Good written and verbal communication skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
Min Qualification --Engg/Btech/MCA
o Well versed with CI/CD pipeline
o Experience on PubSub model will be advantage
o Good knowledge of banking domain
