Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Counselor and Marketing professional. The Senior Counselor will be responsible for counseling students, providing academic advice, and coordinating admission procedures. The Marketing professional will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns, creating promotional materials, and managing social media platforms. The Senior Counselor and Marketing professional will work closely together to ensure the success of RIT in attracting and supporting students.
Qualifications
- Counseling and Guidance skills, including experience in providing academic advice
- Marketing skills, including experience in developing marketing campaigns and creating promotional materials
- Social Media Management skills, including experience in managing social media platforms
- An understanding of the higher education system and the needs of students and faculty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in a similar position is preferred
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include proficiency in multiple languages, familiarity with the local community, and experience with event planning and coordination.
