PMO Specialist in our office in Amman

As a PMO Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the PMO function and the project managers in streamlining project management processes achieve a seamless project management experience. And monitor project management practices to ensure the project governance structure is applied. The successful candidate will be able to provide project progress reports, and work with the resource managers to determine each team's project capacity.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to ensure project plans are in place and track project success
• Work with project managers to create project reports and distribute them to the relevant stakeholders
• Work with project managers to ensure project management methodologies are being adhered to
• Provide support to project requesters throughout the 'pre-project' phase
• Work with resource managers to agree on project capacity and communicate findings with project managers
• Work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure all project documentation is in place including post project reviews and project fact sheets

Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
• Knowledge of various Agile project management methodologies
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Time management skills

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Software or IT implementation
• Working knowledge and experience in an Agile Scrum environment
• PMI-PMP or PMI-CAPM certification is a plus
• Financial industry experience is a plus
• English fluency is a must
