Job description
The Executive Secretary will work closely with the leadership and shall provide executive support in a one to one working relationship. The selected candidate will be the face of Bhumi to those who reach out to us through published channels. The applicant shall interact/work with a wide variety of people including employees, volunteers, donors, communities, partner organisations, corporates and vendors.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and managing communication - be the first in the line to answer queries and requests from external stakeholders, and direct them to appropriate teams.
- Manage appointment/visit requests and assist with scheduling as required.
- Support the executive team with research and documentation.
- Compiling and updating reports and communication templates.
- Being up to date with the schedule of events and other happenings in Bhumi, and sharing information accordingly.
- Supporting all teams with a wide range of administrative and operational tasks.
Educational Qualification/Experience:
- Any graduate or postgraduate
- Freshers welcome
- Proven experience (1-2 years) as executive secretary or similar administrative role will be an advantage.
Knowledge & Skill sets required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The ability to speak Tamil will be an advantage.
- Creativity and attention to detail in written communication.
- High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability.
- Resourceful, responsible and self-starting with a high level of ownership.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Should be proactive and take the initiative in getting all tasks completed.
