Job description
Looking for 4yr to 7yr of experience candidates.
1. Getting a feedback from the sales department on customer inquiries, hot selling and not selling items
2. Understanding market trends via
1. Online media
2. Print media (catalogues, magazines)
3. Visiting exhibitions / stores
4. Upcoming seasons / occasions in the local and international market
3. Creating a collection (12 collections per annum) story board defining the thought behind it (one to many)
4. Get input from production on materials available
5. Getting approval from Gautam for the collection and for the budget
6. Providing details of the story board to PR
7. Create designs and penning down your thoughts behind each product
8. Get sales feedback on designs
9. Put approved designs into production and give technical details of the product to PR
10. Discuss each design with the artisan and certify the final product against the design
11. Approve product molds of the artisan
12. Validate product before stone setting
13. Approve the final product and validate against original design
14. Click photographs of the product for your future reference
15. Communicating the collection and product thought process to the sales team
Customer requirements
1. Assist sales staff in designing jewelry for the customer as per their needs
2. Follow the same process for custom designs as in point 11 in collection
Merchandising
1. Being part of the merchandising team for the selection of products
