The company has history of over 25 years and has over 75 employees across three verticals of Food Ingredients, Personal Ingredients and other Specialty Chemicals . The company deals in over 325 products sourced from over 40 global suppliers and well established relationship with over 4000 clients across India.
Overview The Human Resource Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the HR team in various administrative and strategic HR functions. This role is instrumental in gaining valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations, contributing to the overall success of the HR department.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with recruitment activities such as job posting, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes
- Assist with employee relations initiatives and maintaining employee records
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing documentation and data entry
- Participate in HR projects and contribute to process improvements
- Assist with training and development initiatives for employees
- Support in conducting HR-related research and data analysis
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events
- Contribute to maintaining and updating HR databases and employee files
- Assist in drafting internal communications and HR-related announcements
- Participate in HR meetings and contribute innovative ideas to the team
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and HR best practices
- Provide support in various HR administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Previous internship or office experience is a plus
- Knowledge of HRIS or HR software is desirable
- Ability to adapt to change and display a positive, flexible approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
