The company has history of over 25 years and has over 75 employees across three verticals of Food Ingredients, Personal Ingredients and other Specialty Chemicals . The company deals in over 325 products sourced from over 40 global suppliers and well established relationship with over 4000 clients across India.

Overview

The Human Resource Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the HR team in various administrative and strategic HR functions. This role is instrumental in gaining valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations, contributing to the overall success of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities such as job posting, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes
  • Assist with employee relations initiatives and maintaining employee records
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing documentation and data entry
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to process improvements
  • Assist with training and development initiatives for employees
  • Support in conducting HR-related research and data analysis
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events
  • Contribute to maintaining and updating HR databases and employee files
  • Assist in drafting internal communications and HR-related announcements
  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute innovative ideas to the team
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and HR best practices
  • Provide support in various HR administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Previous internship or office experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of HRIS or HR software is desirable
  • Ability to adapt to change and display a positive, flexible approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
