Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned PHP Developer with a strong background in developing high-quality web applications. As a PHP Developer at Sahir Web Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web-based applications using PHP, with a particular focus on Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, as well as experience with server setup and maintenance, particularly on Linux-based systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain advanced web applications using PHP with Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. Implement robust features and optimize existing code for performance and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers and design teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Set up, configure, and manage Linux servers to host web applications. Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative coding. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development and suggest improvements to current processes Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PHP development. Strong experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control. Solid understanding of server setup, configuration, and maintenance on Linux platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with API design and development. Bonus Points: Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React. Familiarity with Python or other programming languages. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
