Reporting to: Global Revenue Manager

We have an exciting employment opportunity within Finance to join our Accounts Receivable Team. This role will be responsible for all collections activity across our global portfolio of customers. The role will also be responsible for resolving any billing related issues with our customers and work cross functionally with our Sales Department

What youll do:

• Collect, handle, and provide resolution of outstanding invoices on past due accounts primarily through emails and phone calls.
• Review accounts daily applying weekly generated aging reports to accurately prioritize account management while maintaining accurate and complete account collection notes.
• Respond to customer requests; provide backup documentation as needed to facilitate payments.
• Research account short payments, disputes, other discrepancies as needed.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of outgoing and incoming phone calls and emails
• Work collaboratively within Finance, Billing, Support, and Sales groups to resolve issues as they arise
• Cross-train to perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed to assist the accounting teams
• Retrieve and compile backup documentation for accounts being placed with third party collections

What you need:

• Minimum prior experience working in a collection role gained via internships or co-ops
• Knowledge of accounting to navigate financial statements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritization.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet dead lines
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to build balanced and scalable models
