Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager Accounts & Commercial to join our team at Venus Star Construction - A Venus Star Group Company. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and commercial activities of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, tax compliance, and commercial operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
• Professional qualification - Chartered Accountant
• Proven experience in financial management and commercial operations
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with Tally ERP and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead a team and foster a collaborative work environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting and financial management of the company
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST)
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team
• Perform regular financial analysis and provide insights to management
• Review and reconcile financial statements
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize commercial operations
• Provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
