Job description
Overview:
The Test Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by leading and managing the testing team. They are responsible for overseeing the entire testing process implementing testing strategies and ensuring that the software meets quality standards and requirements.
EXP : 7 to 15 yrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test strategies and plans.
- Lead and manage the testing team.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and prioritize testing activities.
- Oversee the design and execution of test cases and test scripts.
- Manage testing schedules and resources to meet project deadlines.
- Identify and escalate quality risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and results.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the testing team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust testing environment.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to resolve testingrelated issues.
- Provide leadership and guidance in resolving complex testing challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium LoadRunner or similar.
- Experience in leading and managing testing teams.
- Expertise in Agile methodology and its application in testing processes.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Indepth knowledge of quality security and regulatory standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple testing projects.
- Certifications in quality assurance or testing (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and impact analyses.
- Proficient in test case design and execution.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
