Short Description
Required This is an extremely critical role for the Procurement function. As a Department Head, the role holder will be expected to lead and drive all activities pertaining to LEAP initiative (Margin Improvement Program) across the organization to meet annual cost improvement targets. Additionally the role holder will also be required to:
- Lead the establishment, simplification, and automation of functional process to improve the overall efficiency.
- Drive CPO office and Special projects with a vision to improve procurement effectiveness & efficiency. Establish and lead the MIS on all Procurement key matrix on monthly basis to management
- Lead and drive program management capabilities and developmental strategic support

Key Responsibilities - Simplification of the process, Division of work & scope via identification, elimination, digitization & automation.
- Lead the system enchantment, Automation projects as per business requirement.
- Facilitate/simplify the business process (SOP) requirements with the need to achieve the overall functional goals.
- Drive, Plan & Enable idea generation workshops to build robust cost reduction ideas bank to meet organizational cost reduction targets.
- Review the idea generation and implementation process to ensure saving targets are delivered within timelines.
- Responsible for setting the vision, direction and execution for all key deliverables
- Develop program management capability for the function.
- Periodic update of the functional MIS & Dashboard Capturing inputs from stakeholder across Procurement and collating

- Should be able to manage and align cross function Team
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status-quo and champion best in class solution and problem solving across function and cross function.
- Must have the Exposure of various level of cost reduction/ optimization, system improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leading and coaching team to high level of performance
- Oversee the Implementation of Process Improvement throughout the Function.
Education B.TECH in ELECTRONICS or MECHANICAL
MBA in OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Relevant Experience - B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/ Automobile etc.)
- MBA (Operations & Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management would be preferred).
- Minimum 12+Yrs in any supply chain based manufacturing Organisation (Preferred in Automotive Industry/ IT Industry/ Power/Automation/Auditing Industry
- Should have Procurement and sourcing experience
