Position- Operation & Maintenance Asst. Manager

Role and responsibilities- Purpose of the role- This is a full-time on-site role for Assistant Manager- Operation & Maintenance. in the Kolkata metropolitan area at KSL Cleantech Limited. The Assistant Manager- Operation & Maintenance will look after the Operation & Maintenance activity of existing solar assets and lead the O&M team and ensure that the goals and objectives are met on time. Responsibilities- System Monitoring: Supervising the performance of solar panels and related equipment through monitoring systems to ensure optimal energy production. Preventive Maintenance: Planning and executing routine inspections and maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure longevity. Fault Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maximize energy output. Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective operation. Team Management: Leading a team of engineers & technicians and ensuring they are well-trained to carry out maintenance tasks effectively. Safety: Ensuring safe operation & maintenance activity of solar plants. Performance Optimization: Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and implementing measures to enhance overall plant performance. Reporting: Providing regular reports on the plant's operational performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents to higher management & clients. Contract Management: Collaborating with contractors and vendors for specialized services and ensuring contractual obligations are met. Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response plans to address unforeseen issues and minimize potential damage. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation. Qualifications- Required Qualification- A B.Tech degree (preferably in Electrical or Electronics) is necessary. Software Known: PVSyst, MOD scan, Online RMS portal. In-depth understanding of solar photovoltaic systems, inverters, energy storage systems, and associated technologies. Knowledge of electrical systems and grid integration is crucial. Skills- Must know about configuring Data logger, RMS, and WMS devices. Performance analysis Problem-Solving Abilities Excellent communication Leadership qualities Managerial skills Documentation. Experience- Required experience- Minimum 5 years in the same Role. Strong background in preventive and corrective maintenance practices for MW-scale solar power plants, including troubleshooting and fault resolution.Job tags
