Job Title: Sr. Analyst Department: Payment Posting Job Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Accurately post and reconcile payments received from various sources, including insurance companies, patients, and government payers. Verify the accuracy of payment amounts, adjustments, and denials. Enter payment data into the billing system and ensure all information is correctly recorded. Analyze remittance advice or Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify discrepancies, underpayments, or overpayments. Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues promptly. Identify denied claims and understand the reasons for denials. Work closely with the denial management team to address and resolve claim denials, ensuring maximum reimbursement. Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of patient received against posted payments. Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash reconciliation. Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries or issues. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (e.G., HIPAA) Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
