Work closely with project managers, delivery leads, data analysts and business management on multiple development projects
Oversee day to day technical administration including upgrades and release management, analyze log files, configuration changes, installation, and configuration documents (runbooks), upgrade validation/testing, change control, technical issue/problem resolution
Oversee the maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation
Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for the systems design, while providing a solution that meets the business' strategic objectives
Perform complex database management functions focusing on Microsoft SQL Server technology, including writing/executing SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL packages
Oversee daily monitoring of end-to-end performance, analyze the results, and distribute routine reporting to the team and stakeholders.
Provide guidance and coaching to the development team
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
A minimum of five years of experience as primary technical lead on medium to large size projects
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS (or similar ETL tool), Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft BI Stack, QlikView/Sense
Experience with data warehousing technologies, data modelling and information architecture
Analyze and document complex data integration solutions
Understanding of resource management/utilization
Ability to multitask with specific focus on coordination
Preferred: Experience in professional services environment
