Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Sales Manager at WACKER in Bengaluru. Assistant Manager Sales is responsible for maintaining and expanding the business/ market presence of Wacker in the defined region of responsibility (South) by

• Promoting sales & business revenues with existing and new clients

• Identifying new business opportunities with existing applications or new applications for Wacker products in the market

• Managing the distributors in the region

• Acting as the primary lead in maintaining and supporting the client relationship

• Collecting information on market trends, and gathering business intelligence

• Supporting business activities

Key Tasks

• Volume & Sales Revenue Growth
• Customer Management
• Market Research & Competitor activity monitoring
• Sales MIS Reporting

Qualifications

B.Tech Chemical or Polymer Chemistry or with a postgraduate qualifications in marketing. MSc Chemistry with postgraduate degree in marketing can be considered if having relevant experience.

Minimum 8+ years' work experience in India in sales of specialty chemicals preferably construction chemicals and or in developing new markets for chemical products.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, to take initiative, and be self- motivated
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills to create sales reports and forecasts
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize tasks
• Preferably understands and speaks local language in addition to English and Hindi.
• Willing to travel extensively
• Must practice and promote integrity and ethical behavior and be trustworthy.
• Working with MNC will be an added advantage
• Prior experience with Salesforce, SAP tools is an advantage
