Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :
We are looking for an experienced Backup L2 Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team. As an L2 Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise in backup hosted on prem & hyper-converged infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of TSM, Netbackup, Dell DPPM technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-centric approach. Technical Experience :
Responsible for installation and configuration of TSM v 5.x, 6.x,7.x, 8.x Master Server, Media Server, and Clients across various Operating System platforms • Install and configure TSM v 6.x,v7.x and 8.x T on and migration TSM Master, Media and Clients on UNIX, Windows and Linux environments • Upgrade TSM for all UNIX, Linux and Windows • Knowledge on Datadomain, Tape library management will be a plus. • Implement clustering mechanism to lower the administrative tasks • Work on Client-Server architecture for one-to-one and one to many connections.
• Proficient in creation / configuration of backup policies such as file systems, SQL, VMware, Oracle, Lotus Notes, and Sybase databases, RAW Professional Attributes :
• 5+ years of experience in backup support or administration.
• Strong knowledge of hyper-converged infrastructure technologies.
• Experience in troubleshooting tape, SAN related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Additional Info :
