Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor at HireBloc Ventures Pvt Ltd located in Hyderabad. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for day-to-day student counseling, communication with students and faculty, career counseling and academic advising. The candidate must be willing to work in-person in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in student counseling and academic advising, with an emphasis on communication
- A passion for education and an eagerness to engage and motivate students
- Experience in career counseling and a thorough understanding of the job market for recent graduates
- A degree in Education or related field is required, with a preference for advanced degrees
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well with a diverse student and faculty population
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in an academic environment is a plus
- Experience with student information systems and technology is also a plus
