The job responsibilities for the position of Executive Program Coordinator at Akshadhaa Foundation Trust

Akshadhaa Foundation is a non-profit organisation working with the neurodiverse population bringing rehab service, special school program, vocational skill development and employment generation for last 11 years. The ogranisation is working on several community projects being technical partner and handholding grass root level ngos, schools and community services to uplift the learning and engagement opportunities for the population with special needs.

Job Overview

A program coordinator is responsible for managing and organizing various aspects of a program, ensuring its successful implementation and completion. The Associate Program coordinator will work with the team to establish the project deliverables in the required and established manner. The specific job duties include:

1.    Program Planning: Developing and implementing plans and strategies for achieving the program's objectives.

2.    Coordination: Coordinating the activities of program staff and volunteers to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and timely completion of tasks.

3.    Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing program budgets and ensuring the efficient use of program resources.

4.    Reporting and Evaluation: Collecting and analyzing data to monitor program performance, evaluating program outcomes, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

5.    Communications: Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders, including program participants, staff, and partners.

6.    Program Promotion: Developing and implementing marketing and outreach strategies to promote the program and increase participation.

7.    Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to the program and developing strategies to mitigate or manage them.

8.    Quality Assurance: Ensuring the program meets quality standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

9.    Training and Development: Providing training and support to program staff and volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

10. Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with stakeholders, including program participants, partners, and funders, to ensure their ongoing support and engagement in the program.

Qualifications

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Masters degree in Psychology/ Masters in Social Work

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Kannada (optional)

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent Inter-personal skills

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proficient in MS office application

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proficient in Email, Social media, Internet

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Empathetic to work with persons with disabilities

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Person with a positive demeanour, a thorough team worker with a high degree of Emotional and Social Quotient

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Need to be independent in having proper mobility at their personal disposal

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â In good health and practicing healthy living practices
