Job description
We are a Data Science ML Engineering team under the Enterprise Business Services organisation focussing on Finance domain. Our team builds products for Finance business, solutions include gathering user data, processing and building end-to-end solutions to help business derive data driven insights.
What youll do:
- Build, maintain and enhance robust, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volume of data to support data science solutions.
- Monitor and enhance machine learning pipelines deployed as REST API or as batch pipelines.
- Provide first level of engineering support for issues raised from production applications including extensive troubleshooting and debugging.
- Work on maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Python/PySpark.
- Develop tools and automate manual operational tasks and easy maintenance of our services.
- Build monitoring metrics dashboard, and report system health and support status metrics.
What youll bring:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a support role or software/data engineering role.
- Hands-on experience working with data technologies including SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, Hadoop and related technologies and tools.
- Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills, an ability to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems and develop solutions.
- Adhere to established Service Levels Agreements and ensure to follow up on the ticket in a timely manner.
- Flexible and Open to working in a 24x7 environment with rotating shifts and rotating weeks off including holidays
- A strong sense of accountability and ownership, self-discipline, and focus on high-quality deliverables, and a team-oriented approach that values design thinking, efficiency, and innovation.
