Job description

Business Development Representative - US Market (required to work 9 AM EST to 5 PM EST shift).

JoVE is the world-leading producer and provider of science video solutions with the mission to improve scientific research and education. JoVE is looking for candidates who are passionate about a career in sales.

The Role

The Business Development Rep (BDR) will be on the frontlines of the outbound and inbound sales efforts. You will work an established list of leads to fill the sales funnel with interested prospects by booking meetings, conducting product demos and setting up bespoke personal trials.

To accelerate your success at JoVE, you’ll be provided with a 2-week training program provided with a training partner and mentor for your first month.

Responsibilities

Provide a steady stream of valuable leads for territory managers through trials, integrations and product recommendations To achieve this a combination of 100 calls and emails per day will be expected Manage daily inbound requests from marketing campaigns Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to advance the sales process Log relationships, touchpoints, trials, and recommendations in SalesForce.com Utilize sales enablement tools such as Balto, Calendly, YAMM, and Seamless.ai

Qualifications

A Bachelor degree 1-3 years of experience in Sales / Business Development Required to work US hour shift - 9 AM EST to 5 PM EST. A demonstrated passion for science, education, lowering costs for students, and the belief that video/technology can truly make a difference throughout the educational process Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for remote relationship building Ability to tell a compelling story in a short period of time Strong organization skills
