Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Execution: - Organize and execute a wide range of events, including but not limited to mental health workshops, physical fitness activities, art exhibitions, alumni gatherings, open mic nights, festive celebrations, and events tailored to Gen Z preferences. - Ensure events are well-coordinated, engaging, and align with the interests of our resident community.

2. Sponsorship and Brand Collaborations: - Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities and brand collaborations to support events and initiatives. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors and partners to enhance the quality and variety of events.

3. Resident Engagement: - Foster a sense of community and well-being among residents by actively engaging with them and addressing their needs. - Create platforms for residents to share feedback and suggestions for enhancing their living experience.

4. Hosting and Anchoring: - Showcase excellent hosting and anchoring skills during events to ensure residents feel welcomed and engaged. - Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm while hosting events.

5. Customer Service: - Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. - Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents.

6. Event Promotion and Marketing: - Develop marketing strategies to promote events to residents, maximizing attendance and participation. - Utilize social media and other channels to create buzz and excitement around upcoming events.

7. Networking: - Build and nurture a strong network of contacts on behalf of the brand. - Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent Union Living and explore potential collaborations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, etc.) or equivalent experience. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Extroverted, social, and comfortable with public speaking. - Event management experience or a strong passion for event planning. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Customer-focused mindset with exceptional customer service skills. - Creativity and an understanding of Gen Z preferences and trends. - Demonstrated ability to network effectively and build relationships.
