Job description

Based in our Mumbai office, this role aims to provide comprehensive technical supports for Global Cathelco business lines, including Data (log-sheets) compilation, analysis, cost estimation, preparation of quotation, internal/ external communications, and Salesforce CRM data management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Log-sheet data Analysis:

• Compilation and evaluation of log-sheets, develop detailed historical analysis reports and maintaining flawless communication with our global client base.
• Skill to interpret the key data results and thereby converting those data into spares and engineering service sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the local & head office technical team for upselling opportunities based on analysis.
• Highlight discrepancies or customer correspondence, referring them back to the local technical team for engagement.

2. Cost analysis and Preparation of quotations:

• Review RFQs (Request for quotation) for technical requirements and historical information.
• Prepare cost estimates and Recommended Selling Prices, sharing them with local entities or quoting directly when applicable.
• Collaborate with local entities for quote submissions without time lapse and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Aim for data preparation and compilation for India and global offices, utilising local entity resources for efficient conversion of quotes to orders.

3. Salesforce CRM:

• Utilise log-sheets to enter vessel and asset information into Salesforce CRM.
• Set up opportunity sales based on vessel dry-docking schedule and anode end-of-life data.
• Enter manual spreadsheets (e.g., Sam wand yachts data) into CRM for streamlined data management.

Requirements:

• 4 years Degree or 3-year diploma in electrical/ electronic/ instrumentation discipline. From any recognised university.
• Technical background with a strong aptitude for technical data (log-sheet) analysis and ability to prepare detailed reports and respond to technical data (log-sheets) efficiently.
• Familiarity with the SAP software for preparation of technical quotations, spareparts stock analysis, cost estimation, delivery time management and pricing strategies.
• Proficient in using Salesforce CRM for data entry and management.
• Strong organisational skills to ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
• Effective communication skills in English for collaboration with local technical teams and entities.
• Willingness to travel to company’s global offices/ vessels/ installation for technical inspections and report preparations.
• Proactive approach to upselling opportunities identified through log-sheet analysis.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
