Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & execution of IT infra based on need of the client ( For a typical space of about 25K sft
space, design of Network with Firewall, Switches, LAN cabling, network and server racks, Wifi
Devices, Access Control Devices, CCTV system, UPS design, ILL and Broadband plan, AV
equipment, etc)
a. Configuration of firewall (preferably Sophos)
b. Configuration of L2 and L3 HP / CISCO switches
c. Understanding of Internet leased line networks (load balancing etc.)
d. Setting up of wifi infrastructure & controllers
2. Creation of simple storage on windows and Linux platforms
3. Managing IP based telephony infrastructure. ( Desirable: Opensource EPBX - Elastix/FreePbx)
4. Configuring and managing NMS
5. Bandwidth monitoring and Bandwidth shaping/committing as per client requirement
6. Communication with various clients' CIO, CTO's and vendors for integration of their networks
with ours like VPN tunnels, point to point connectivity etc.
7. Setting up IPSEC VPN Tunneling
8. Technical Support to the L1 engineers for field service and maintaining the SLAs
9. Developing and managing the team across the country.
10. Co-ordination & negotiation with vendors and maintaining smooth functioning of IT infra
11. Documentation of IT infrastructure
12. Support IT director in all the IT strategies
13. Weekly reporting on all aspects of IT systems and activities
