International Operational Excellence (OE) is responsible for supporting our international issuing and acquiring businesses across 27+ countries and ensuring they have a robust first line of defense.International OE plays an active role in enabling the businesses to meet their growth objectives while demonstrating an effective control framework.Our organization helps our international businesses manage risk, respond to new regulation, and develop new products while creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the organisation.

How will you make an impact in this role

This position has the responsibility to drive design, implementation and execution of Operational Risk Programs related to India Data Localization (IDL) e.g. Ongoing Controls Testing and Monitoring, Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA) certification & assessment, Operational Risk Events (OREs), Change Management, Enterprise Resilience program coordination for American Express Banking Corp. (AEBC), etc.This IDL Program Management role requires extensive engagement with Technology, Risk and Information Security teams across various facets of 1st line of defense including but not limited to meeting Regulatory Compliances, Regulatory Interactions/Clarifications, Regulatory Change Management Implementation Projects, measuring & monitoring Control Effectiveness.
