Drishti Eye Institute is a tertiary care Eye Hospital in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India that specializes in Advanced Lasik surgery for glasses removal, Retina surgery, and Micro-incision cataract surgery with premium lens implants. With 6 full-time eye specialists and 3 visiting specialists, Drishti Eye Institute is the biggest and best-equipped Eye Hospital in Dehradun and the state of Uttarakhand.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant. The Chartered Accountant will be primarily responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, audit compliance, managing taxes and providing financial advice to the Top management. The Chartered Accountant will liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the financial functions of the organization and support the business decision-making process.
Major Responsibilities
- Submissions of tax return, vat return, income tax returns, GST and TDS reports etc.
- Finalization of Balance sheets and profit Loss Account at periodical intervals
- Monthly preparation and consolidation of Financial Statements
- Timely review of income/costs, reconciliations including sub-ledgers and bank Accounts and balance sheet on a monthly basis
- Review of process to bring efficiency and cost savings.
- Robust documentation explaining variances / balance in PL and BS
- MIS Budgeting
- Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure. Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure.
- Auditing financial information.
- Compiling and presenting reports and financial statements.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting knowledge, expertise in accounting standards, and compliance regulations
- Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and team members
- Keen analytical ability to evaluate performance, identify risks, and develop solutions
- Efficient time management and multitasking ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or finance
- Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent
- 2-3 Years of Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred.
