Position: Banquet/Convention Centre Operations Head Location: Delhi, India CTC: Up to 40 LPA

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Banquet/Convention Centre Operations Head to oversee all aspects of our banquet and convention operations in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management with proven leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the banquet and convention centre, ensuring smooth execution of events and functions. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation. Coordinate with various departments including sales, culinary, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure seamless event execution. Supervise and train staff members, including banquet managers, event coordinators, and service staff, to maintain high standards of service excellence. Manage budgetary constraints and financial goals to achieve profitability targets. Maintain inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies for events and functions. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to drive repeat business and enhance the venue's reputation. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative ideas and maintain competitiveness. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally. Prepare reports and analyses on key performance indicators, event metrics, and financial results for management review.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 10-25 years of relevant experience in banquet and convention centre operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and functions. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Familiarity with relevant software applications and technology used in event management. A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of local regulations and licensing requirements related to banquet and convention operations in Delhi.
