Job description

• The Finance Excellence Partner (FxP) is responsible for key finance operations and processes and contributes to the business with in-depth knowledge and systems expertise

• The purpose of the FxP is to facilitate internal collaboration and bring efficiencies to our processes in close collaboration with commercial finance colleagues and the wider team at Roche Diagnostics Netherlands
• This will also involve building networks across the Roche organization cross-country to drive transformational business initiatives and collaborate in the new ways of working to bring about improvements in operations
• While we welcome people with diverse backgrounds and the office language is both Dutch and English, Dutch fluency is considered a plus.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include:

• Be part of the sub-regional cluster of seven different Roche offices to collaborate on common topics with scaling up the time working as part of the cluster rather than just locally

• Act as a partner and information source for an international group of colleagues to share, develop and support solutions

• Support the commercial finance colleagues on various finance operations and be a key collaborator in project teams

• Act as finance representative in a variety of internal improvement projects and strategic initiatives

• Act as liaison between the local organization and our Shared Service Center Finance colleagues

• Be the focal point for key finance operations locally (e.g. local SAP key user, instrument asset handling and installed base capacity reporting, material management, digital products commercialization, and others)

This is the kind of expertise and experience you bring:

• HBO or master degree in Finance

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience (Finance Controlling, Commercial Finance, etc.)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch fluency is considered a plus

• Excellent financial skills

• Affinity with ERP systems and the related end-to-end processes and interdependencies

• Preferably: knowledge of healthcare finances and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
