Location: We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon. This position will be based out of India. Overlap to U.S. EST hours.
About the role: The Consumer Marketing Team at TMB is looking for a Sr. Manager / Associate Director, Performance Marketing. This position will report to our Sr. Director, Marketing and own all paid media channels to deliver on the goals of multiple business lines. This role supports multiple product lines and requires the ability to communicate effectively across the organization. The Sr. Manager / Associate Director, Performance Marketing will be responsible for overseeing proper execution, strategy, reporting, analysis, optimization, and presentation/articulation of campaigns paid promotions across product lines. This person and their team need to be able to pivot quickly, execute with accuracy, stay focused on KPIs and be able to provide clear creative direction.
About you: You are fluent in buying platforms, how AI can support performance marketing and Social/SEM media investment techniques. You can provide strategic thought leadership and technical knowledge on how media fits within a broader communication channel mix. You have a strong competency in modern media practices, and how to abide by an agreed-upon strategy. You are a leader with an affinity to analytical, collaboration, and take accountability for ROI and ROAS. You are native to distribution via Social, SEM, Display & Video, Streaming/OTT/CTV/FAST, and Programmatic buying methodologies. You have strong presentation and communication skills and thrive on an opportunity to present to senior leadership and build relationships.
Your day-to-day: - Oversee and support execution of in-house operations for paid media, primarily executed across Social Media and Search Engine Marketing, to deliver on business objectives using Generative AI tools to enhance performance across platforms
- Work closely with the Associate Marketing Manager to identify paid media strategy, recruitment and sustainment of audience pools, and an optimal media mix to beat benchmark KPIs with a concrete measurement framework
- Develop campaigns, giving clear and concise creative direction to our in-house creative team and proof all creative
- Provide insights to budget assumptions and manage to budgets, providing up to date reporting and recommendations for optimization - Enhance reporting as needed, reviewing current campaign results on a regular cadence, pivoting quickly to maximize profitability
- Advise peer Business Owners on a data-backed budget, tactical, and executional campaign plan to deliver media objectives - Project results based on historical metrics and marketplace knowledge
- Manage presentation development for delivery to senior management, storytelling around paid media analytics, and an informed approach to the future
- Maintain a pulse on marketplace trends and competitive activity
- Collaborate on a strategic level with the Data Team to continually assess the use of 1P audiences
- Cultivate relationships with Site Optimization team to constantly iterate on the user's on-site experience and optimize towards greatest revenue potential
You have: - BA (Marketing or Business Administration) required
- Expert knowledge on cross-channel Digital Media buying and activation
- 4-6+ years' experience in Digital Media buying and activation
- At least 3+ years' in Social Media and/or SEM buying and activation
- Use of Generative AI tools a plus
- Team management experience, guiding cross-media strategy, investment and implementation (client or agency)
- Problem-solving skills, with an exceptional ability to digest new information, master new techniques and translate knowledge to others in a fast-paced environment
- An ability to prioritize and organize issues / projects for self, internal team, and external partners
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in Google Analytics, Looker, and any BI tool a plus
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail is a must and ability to catch errors
- Ability to understand and leverage data to make informed, data-driven decisions to drive growth within the business unit
About this team: The Sr. Manager / Associate Director, Performance Marketing will work closely with the Associate Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Director to empower surrounding team members. This tight-knit team will have a keen focus on delivering projected KPIs. In collaboration with major Site Optimization team members, the Performance Marketing team will celebrate major wins as it plays a vital role in keeping TMB brands profitable in an evolving marketplace.
