We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Pune .
Essential Functions:
- Participate in sprint and project planning and execute on project commitments.?
- Develop test strategies and test suites using various testing methodologies and tools available??
- Thoroughly analyze and understand software requirement , design and define test cases and scenarios for the requirements.??
- Ensure the appropriate testing methodology is implemented, including functional / unit testing, regression testing, browser compatibility testing, stress / performance testing, mobile testing, pass / failure testing and post release validation (smoke) testing for web and back office systems?
- Work as an integral member of the Quality Engineering team collaborating with product, engineering and other business units to testing and releasing software in an agile environment?
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owner, and other team members to make sure stories acceptance criteria is consistently understood across the team; lead test cases review to gain a common understanding of acceptance criteria?
- Enhance automation framework, create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts?
- Responsible for Automation coverage – Regression and In-sprint for the product supported and integrating it with CI/CD pipeline enabling Continuous Testing?
- Work closely with other QA analysts, developers, vendors and integration partners to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality?
- Monitor, manage, and report bugs using customized bug tracking tools industry standard tools such as JIRA?
- Participates in design and implementation of QA test strategies and protocol for testing software releasesEnsures the full application of all relevant QA standards to validate application functionality. Documents, tracks and verifies defects and fixes in assigned applications.Participates in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specification and applicable QA standards?
- Leads/directs the software test automation effort by developing formal test cases to ensure that there is an adequate level of coverage for all required application?
- Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.?
- Reviewing Quality Assurance KPIs and work towards improving it?
- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.?
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.?
- Develop Master Test plan and Strategy?
- Represent the QE team on complex application development or maintenance projects?
- Lead/assist in conducting necessary reviews and walkthroughs?
Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS degree or equivalent in computer science or related field?
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance covering the aspects of Test Automation, performance testing and security testing??
- Must have experience with Cypress and Javascript front end testing
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Familiar with mocking, stubbing of sub-systems so specific parts can be isolated for testing
- Experience using tools such as Mockito, Pact, PowerMock
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
- Experience working with AWS Cloud Technologies
- Experience and understanding of SQL and NoSQL
- Prior work experience with GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, GitLab, Etc.
- Preferred experience working with Zephyr plugin to JIRA
- Prefer Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, ITIL?
