Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Surat. The Interior Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), and project management. The designer will conceptualise, design and create layouts for interior spaces to ensure functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
Qualifications
- Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills
- Interior Design skills, including conceptualising, designing & executing solutions for interior spaces
- Knowledge of FF&E and ability to source and select materials and products
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with clients and contractors
- Ability to generate computer-aided designs (CAD) and proficiency in relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively
- Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Relevant certifications in interior design, such as NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) or LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) are a plus
