Lead Data Scientist (Drive)As a lead data scientist at geoiq, you will spearhead our data science initiatives, leveraging your expertise to mentor and guide a dynamic team of professionals. The role involves not only developing advanced predictive models and analyses but also providing strategic direction to the team. With a focus on innovation, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of our ai-powered platform, influencing decision-making for businesses nationwide.Responsibilities : As the lead data scientist, you will build upon your foundational data science skills to guide the team in creating and implementing cutting-edge solutions.- Mentor and lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support in solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and align data science initiatives with business requirements.- Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.- Drive the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and predictive models to optimize decision-making processes.- Conduct in-depth data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and statistical hypothesis testing to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and mathematical modeling to predict outcomes and identify relationships between variables.- Lead the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and automation processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.- Oversee the building and deployment of data-driven dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.- Continuously monitor model performance, conduct a/b testing, and fine-tune models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models seamlessly into production systems.Requirements : - Proficiency in python.- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience as a data scientist, with a minimum of 3 years of team mentorship experience.- Proven experience in building machine learning models.- Proficiency in sql.- Knowledge of statistical techniques.- Experience working with spatial data is an added advantage.
