Offshore and Onshore Pipe stress Analysis Job Description: B' Tech/M'Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 8-14 Years of experience in Piping Design Should have experience Plant Engineering Piping & Offshore Engineering Pipe Stress Engineer Offshore or FPSO experience preferred. MIN: 4 year experience in offshore piping mandatory Tools: CEASER-II Having AutoCAD experience is value added Domain: Oil&Gas/Offshore/FPSO Familiar with performing hand calculations for pipe supports. Responsible for issuing Piping Drawings for project specific applications Review, Control and Own 3D Piping Models Perform Pipe Stress Analysis and Pipe Support Calculations as required Write Specifications as required Review vendor drawings as required Complete interface with various disciplines at all levels Co-ordinate with Piping Fabricators and Piping Insulation Vendors Design and Procure Heat Tracing Must be responsible, goal driven and a team player Specific Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Execute the package in Cyient premises based on isometrics and client standards, equipment nozzle loads. Final approval of the stress package within agreed timelines Creation of Stress report including stress line list A committed team player able to work on own initiative with the minimum of supervision Organize and manage all aspects of the stress analysis activities Establish a list of discipline deliverables to an agreed schedule. Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising across the organization with members of other disciplines and departments. Should have good knowledge on ASME B31.1 and B31.3 Codes and relevant standards, ASME BPVC Section III and API Standards. Develop piping stress model and execute dynamic/static piping stress analysis. Should be capable of solving the stress and equipment nozzle failures independently. Should have work experience in solving stress calculations with water hammer, slug, relief valve reaction force, wind, earthquake, snow, ice loads and settlement conditions. Should have knowledge on hangers and expansion joints. Should have knowledge on pipe support selection and basic knowledge on evaluation. Hands on experience on Flange leakage and trunnion check is mandatory. Perform evaluation of nozzle loads or vessels stress utilizing WRC 107/297. Should be capable of preparing detailed stress reports or design reports. Should have knowledge on work package preparation. Should be capable of reviewing isometric, equipment drawings, piping layout and 3D drawings. Should be capable of reconciling as-built piping configuration with standard plant design. Should have strong communication skills. Should be able to co-ordinate with Clients and manage team. Leadership skills, Ownership and Responsibility and team mentoring
